Beit Kanz is a social enterprise that celebrates Lebanese culinary and artistic heritage. Through its restaurant, boutique, and épicerie, Beit Kanz offers authentic Lebanese experiences that directly sustain Beit el Baraka, the charity behind it. At Beit Kanz’s farm-to-table restaurant, every dish tells the story of Lebanon’s heritage. Guests step into a 200-year- old Beirut landmark and embark on a journey through time, with a menu inspired by ancestral recipes, traditional cooking methods, and fresh produce from Beit el Baraka’s farm. By sourcing only 10% of the farm’s harvests, while 90% is distributed free of charge to the elderly supported by the charity, Beit Kanz helps sustain the agro-farming project while bringing seasonal, fresh flavours to the table. And nothing goes to waste: leftovers are transformed into compost and returned to the farm, completing a fully circular and sustainable ecosystem.
